Terms of Service Agreement:

Welcome to centervillesdachurch.org, the official website for Centerville Seventh-day Adventist Church.  This site is designed to provide information to anyone interested in or involved in supporting the mission and ministry of the Centerville Seventh -Day Adventist Church.

1. When using the site, centervillesdachurch.org, you agree to the terms and conditions listed in the page titled, “Terms of Service Agreement,” which may be updated by Centerville SDA Church at any time.
2. Centervillesdachurch.org may provide, or third parties may provide links to other World Wide Web sites or resources.  Since centervillesdachurch.org has no control over such sites and resources,  you acknowledge and agree that Centerville Seventh-day Adventist Church is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, you acknowledge and agree that Centerville Seventh-day Adventist Church is not responsible for the availability of such external sits or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.  You further acknowledge and agree that Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such site or resources.
3. You man not (1) modify centervillesdachurch.org, (2) publish, display, disclose, rent, lease, modify, loan, distribute, or create derivative works based on this web site or its documentation of any part thereof without the express written permission of Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church, (3) remove, obliterate, or cancel from view any copyright, trademark, confidentiality or other proprietary notice, mark or legend appearing on centervillesdachurch.org, (4) reverse engineer, decompile, translate, adapt or dissemble cnetervillesdachurch.org nor shall you attempt to create the source code from the object code for centerilllesdachurch.org without the express written permission of Centerville Seventh-day Adventist Church, or (5) assign the license for the service.

1. Certain features of centervillesdachurch.org may require you to register personal information, such as the use of the e-mail contact list, or in registering for Bible Studies.  Centerville Seventh-day Adventist church will not share that information outside of the person(s) appointed by the Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church governing board.  Personal information will not be sold or freely distributed outside of those appointed to deal with that information.  However all interactive communications, (e-mail, Bible Study information, etc.), even though intended for a private audience, are subject to public access.
2. To enable Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church to protect our users and respond to user’s needs and complaints, you consent to the Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church Board, board appointed Web Administrator, and Web Administrator Assistants, to be able to access your user records on centervillesdachurch.org, on a case-by-case basis to investigate complaints, or other allegations or abuse.  Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church shall not disclose the existence or occurrence of such an investigation unless required by law.
3. As a user you understand and agree that the services, of centervillesdachurch.org by the Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church, are provided AS-IS.  Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, miss-delivery or failure to store any user communications.

2. E-mail content that violates laws or regulations designed to protect minors.
3. Impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, the centervillesdachurch.org webmaster, web assistants, church leaders, board members, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
4. Forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through this web site.
5. Upload, post, or email any content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements.)
6. Upload, post, or email any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary right (“Rights”) of any party.
7. Upload, email, or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation.
8. Intentionally upload, post, email, or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware on telecommunications equipment.
9. Interfere with or disrupt centervillesdachurch.org or servers or networks connected to centervillesdachurch.org, or disobey any requirements procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to this web site.
10. Infringe upon copyright laws and regulations

1. The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you of what types of information Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church may gather about you when you visit our Website, how we may use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding such use.  Finally note that this policy applies only to Centervillesdachurch.org.  This privacy policy does not apply to any other website to which this Website may be linked and or affiliated.

By accessing and using the Website, you consent to the collection and use of certain information by Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church on aggregate and / or individual bases.   Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church does not share such information with their parties; however, Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church may use this information to determine what services should be provided to you on this Website.

The information collected may include:  (1) non personally identifiable information {that is information that can be traced to a single, personally identifiable individual,} to evaluate how well our web pages are reaching and serving the needs of visitors,  (2) Home server domain name(s) and type of web browser of visitors to the Website,  (3) email addresses of visitors that communicate with centervillesdachurch.org via email or other electronic means,  (4) information knowingly provided by users in online forms or otherwise, registration forms, {i.e. examples may include but not limited to online registrations for events, online donations, or newsletter subscribers }
4. Currently no financial transactions are done electronically through bank direct transfer or by credit card, on our Website.  If in the future we do so, privacy information and security information will be provided here.

Other companies that place links on the Website may collect information about you when you click on their links or visit their website(s).  You should contact these companies directly if you have any questions about their use or information and privacy policies.  The website assumes no liability for acts of third party(ies) that are linked to this website.  Reasonable efforts are made to safeguard the confidentiality of information transmissions made by means of the internet; however the internet cannot be made absolutely secure.  Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church assumes no liability for disclosure or access to information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized access, or other acts of third parties.
6. Any information collected by centervillesdchurch.org is the property of centervillesdachurch.org, subject to and protected by the federal and state law.  Any information stored or otherwise transmitted to the website will be treated as confidential and proprietary information and will not be disclosed to any third party without your express written consent.  However, under certain circumstances we may be required to or we may choose to provide information about you to third parties with or without your consent, as permitted by law, including, to respond to a subpoena or court order, judicial process or regulatory authorities, and to protect against fraud.  In addition, we may provide information about you to our service providers to help us process your registrations or provide other services.

 

4. Use of Your Information:

1.   Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church may collect two types of information about visitors to the web site.  The personal information may be but not limited to name, address, telephone number, email address, which you have voluntarily submitted to us and aggregate information such as how many visitors log on to our sites, the pages they access, etc.
2. Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church will not trade or share your personal information for use by any business, without your consent, unless required by law or as disclosed to you when the information is collected.
3. We may use your information in a number of ways, including but not limited to: improving the content of our web site.  For example, we may use cookies to find out which part(s) of our web site is visited most often.

 

5. Copyright Permissions

1. Except as otherwise expressly permitted under copyright law, you agree not to reproduce, retransmit, disseminate, sell, distribute, publish, broadcast, or circulate the information received through centervillesdachurch.org to anyone, including but not limited to, others in the same organization without the express prior written consent of Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

 

6. Indemnify

• You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, consultants, and agents from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and / or cists {including but not limited to, attorney fees} arising from your use of our services, your violations of the Terms of Service Agreement or your infringement, or infringement by any other user of your account, or any intellectual property or other right any person entity.  The Terms of Service will inure to the benefits of Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church successors, assigns and licensees.
• The Terms of Service Agreement will be governed by and constructed in accordance with laws of the State of Ohio.  Any actions brought, to enforce this site shall be brought in either the state of federal courts of Ohio.  If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision or portion of the Terms of Service Agreement to be unenforceable, the remainder to the Terms of Service Agreement will continue in full force and effect.
• The Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between the party(ies) with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes and replace all prior or contemporaneous understanding or agreements, written or oral, regarding such matters.  Due to rapidly evolving technologies on the Internet, Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church may occasionally update and change this policy.  Any and all revision(s) will be posted to this site.  A revised privacy Policy will apply only to data collected subsequent to its effective date.  Any waiver of any provision of the Terms of Service will be effective only if in writing and signed by the voting members of Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church governing church board, its chairman and senior pastor.
